After a busy morning of packing and rolling up sleeping bags, we made it to sandwich-making and breakfast! We refuelled for our final activity of the trip.

For Group 1, it was crate-stacking where we worked in partners to try and build the highest tower of crates whilst balancing on top! Group 2 became expert archers – practising their target practise. For Group 3, the last activity was caving and the low ropes course, using teamwork to navigate around the course and braving the dark, wet cave tunnels!

We have been celebrating our Horstead Stars over the last 3 days. These children have been chosen by adults for all sorts of positive reasons, such as showing perseverance, kindness, supportiveness, working well in teams and having a great attitude!

Our Horstead Stars this year are:

Wednesday – Olivia, Tilly, Rupert, Thomas, George and Rebecca

Thursday – Mia-Grace, Jacob, Jimmy, Fred, Harley and Lillie

Friday – Rex, Hector, Theo, Sasha, Ethan and Danica

We have been blown away by the behaviour of Year 4 and Year 5 over the last few days. They have been so supportive of each other and been so polite and respectful to others – we are really proud of everyone!
