Our day began with a continental breakfast of warm pastries, fruit and yoghurt. We all finished with our final activity, most of us doing Bushcraft and Natural Shelter Building. We learnt how to safely create a fire and used ‘dragon sneeze’ tools to create a spark. We collected all the kindling we needed ourselves, mainly from silver birch trees. We then toasted marshmallows and boiled our own water to enjoy some hot chocolate around the fire. We had pizza and salad for lunch before we headed back on the coach and waved goodbye to our amazing Hilltop instructors. We have had an amazing stay at Hilltop and have made some wonderful memories!
