Today was our second day at Hilltop and what an amazing time we have had! We woke up at 7am and started our day off with a big breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns - scrumptious!! Then, some of us set off to the Air Jump. A 10 foot platform where you jump onto an enormous airbag from different levels. We were so proud of the enthusiasm and bravery shown by the children today! It has also been lovely to see them supporting and making friends with children from Laxfield and Fressingfield. For lunch we enjoyed sausage rolls, beans, salads and homemade rocky road. Our groups rotated around the different activities in the afternoon - Tree Top Trail, 'The Journey' and Bushcraft. After our afternoon activities, we cooled off in the outdoor pool. We had so much fun splashing around and enjoying the sunshine! For our evening meal, we had roast chicken, new potatoes and salad, with ice cream for dessert. To finish our busy day, we let off more steam with a game of 'Mad Hatters' and then spent some spending money in the Tuck Shop.
What a busy but fantastic day we have had!
