We have arrived! When we first got to the centre, we headed off to the River Bure for a walk and picnic lunch. It was lovely to get some fresh air and blow the cobwebs away. After we had settled into our rooms, we set off on our first activity. Some of us went back to the river for canoeing, another group worked in pairs to take on the crate stacking, and a different group made and cooked bread around the camp fire whilst the last group took to the sky on the climbing wall and zip wire.
Tea tonight was pasta and garlic bread followed by delicious sponge pudding and toffee sauce. We enjoyed an inside campfire where we sang songs, toasted giant marshmallows and told stories. After a cup of hot chocolate, we headed off to bed ready for another busy day tomorrow!
